India’s food security remains closely connected with climate because agriculture depends heavily on monsoon behaviour, water availability and temperature.
Climate change therefore threatens food security not simply by reducing crop output, but by making agricultural production and food prices more volatile and less predictable.

Heat stress and crop productivity: Rising temperatures can shorten crop duration, increase evapotranspiration and reduce yields of temperature-sensitive crops.

Experiments published in Nature Human Behaviour found that people using ChatGPT produced ideas rated as more creative on average than those working unaided or using conventional web search.

Cognitive offloading: When every difficult task is immediately handed over to AI, individuals lose the productive effort through which reasoning develops.
Homogenisation: AI systems learn from existing patterns and may lead many users towards similar outputs. A 2025 Nature Human Behaviour analysis found that while ChatGPT improved average individual creativity, the overall pool of ideas became less diverse.
Loss of originality: Repeated dependence on generated material can gradually blur the boundary between personal expression and recombination of machine suggestions.
Skill atrophy: Writing, drawing, reasoning or problem-solving skills weaken if they are rarely practised independently.
Reduced agency: The creator risks becoming an editor of machine output rather than the originator of an idea.
